About Aussie Outback Safaris

Doug Morland has operated Aussie Outback Safaris since 1996. He conducts eight to ten small group safaris each year; many Doug Morlandparticipants have returned, numerous times, to experience new safaris.

All 4WDvehicles, campervans, houseboats and catamarans are hired from reputable rental companies

The Aussie Outback Safari experience is not just about traveling from one tourist spot to another - it's for people who enjoy the journey as much as the destination.

Aussie Outback Safaris tours are about:

  • exploring magical Australian Outback places which are off the beaten track,
  • experiencing unexpected challenges (such as pushing the 4x4 out of the sand every now and then),
  • sleeping in quality tents beneath the twinkling stars,
  • sharing favourite tales around a campfire with interesting tour companions.
  • traveling in comfort through-out the Australian Outback in comfortable, reliable well maintained vehicles
  • You'll come back from your Australian Outback experience, refreshed and invigorated, and with a renewed passion for life.

All of our Aussie Outback Safaris tours are for small groups (between 8 and 12 people). (see our dates) All Aussie Outback Safari tours are lead by experienced and knowledgeable guides.

Our safari leader plans each tour route with great care to incorporate places of historical and scenic value, or cultural interest. They are places for photographing wildlife and vast wild and rugged landscapes; places Aussie's affectionately dub The Outback. Some destinations are often not visited by other tour companies.
